The Clinton Herald Friday December 31, 1948 p. 14 Services for Thomas (Nibs) Herrity, 434 Twelfth avenue, South, were held today with a prayer in the Dalton funeral home and a mass in St. Mary's church. The Rev. F. Galligan, P.A.V.F. officated and the girls choir of St. Mary's high school sang. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. Pallbearers were Edward Delaney, David Broderick, Thomas Donahue, Arthur Daley, Henry Sweet and Edward Walton. Attending from out of the city were Mrs. Paul Stanford and daughter, Joyce Ann of Racine, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hayes of Maywood, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Claussen of Goose Lake; Mrs. Fannie Fachett of DeWitt and Mrs. Joseph Zimmerman of Cedar Rapids. Mrs. Louis Cohen, Mrs. Lee Raymond, Harry Hayes, James Hayes, Mr. and Mrs. John Hayes and Charles Hayes all attended from Chicago, Ill.
