The Clinton Daily Herald Thursday December 31, 1891 p. 4 Mrs. E.P. Batchelder, mother of D.J. Batchelder, of this city, died at Cedar Rapids yesterday. She was one of the pioneers of this county. Mr. and Mrs. B. will leave on the evening train to attend the funeral which occurs tomorrow.
