CLINTON — Sandra Kay Bailey, 69, of Clinton, passed away on Sunday at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at 12 p.m. at Lemke Funeral Homes-South, 2610 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Sandra was born on February 15, 1938, in Clinton to Arthur and Maxine (Hartz) Langfitt. She was a high school graduate. She married Charles Bailey on June 28, 1957, in Princeton, IA. She was employed with Mercy Medical Center for 31 years. She started out in the housekeeping department, then as a surgical tech and finally as a courier and transporter at the hospital. After her employment with the hospital she went on to work at Central Supply and Distribution. Sandra was loved by everyone that knew her. She loved to fish, watch football and also was very artistic. She is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Anderson of Clinton and Tammy (Carl) Dunning of Clinton; one son, Charles (Bonnie) Bailey of Clinton; her mother-in-law, Grace Bailey of Clinton; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, La Lonnie Ven Huizen of Clinton; one brother, Gary (Lois) Langfitt of Eldridge, IA; and many nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson and one sister. Memorials may be made to the family. Death date: Jan. 6, 2008
