MORRISON, Ill. — June I. Hilton, 82, of 209 S. Hall Street, Morrison, IL, died Sunday, December 16, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Morrison United Methodist Church. The Rev. Gary Curl, pastor of Morrison United Methodist Church, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service, Thursday, December 27, 2007, at the Morrison United Methodist Church. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, IL. Memorials may be made to the Sauk Valley Community College Foundation. She was born June 21, 1925, in Chicago, IL, to Anthony F. and Rhea J. (Leeka) Haas. She graduated from Hebron, IN, High School and received her B.S. in nursing administration from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She received her M.S. in nursing from Northern IL University in DeKalb, IL. She married Warren O. Hilton on Sept. 3, 1949, in Hebron, IN. She served in the U.S. Army Nursing Cadet Corp. during WWII. She was a professor at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, IL, teaching maternity nursing. She was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church, where she served as president of the WSCS and was a member of the Priscilla Ruth Circle. She was a volunteer nurse for the Red Cross blood drives. Survivors include her husband, Warren; two daughters, Barb (Mrs. Dave) Carlson of Keokuk, IA, and Bev (Mrs. Mike) Broach of Boulder, CO; one son, Ron Hilton of Denver, CO; three grandchildren, Ashley Broach, Jeffrey Hilton and Becky Hilton; one great-grandchild, Michael Hilton; and one sister, Mrs. Maxine Rader of Valparaiso, IN.
