The Clinton Herald February 23, 1921 p. 8 Margaretha Dorothe Passig, nee Peetz, wife of Hans Passig, residing near Bryant died Tuesday noon at the family home. Deceased was 68 years, 11 months and 14 days of age. She had been ill the past year. Surviving her are her husband, three sons, Henry O. Passig of Vienna, S.D., Fred C. Passig of Charlotte and Ferdinand Passig at home. Five daughters, Mrs. August H. Mess of Elvira, Mrs. Henry C. Naeve of Andover, Mrs. Rose A. Jackson of Bryant, Mrs. Arthur A. Hammond of Almont and Miss Anna Passig at home. Also 18 grandchildren. Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church will have charge of the funeral services wihich will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late home. Burial will be in the Ingwersen cemetery.
