The Clinton Herald Wednesday October 26, 1977 p. 10 Richard A. Greve, 18, Newton, formerly of Clinton, died Tesday at home from an apparent self-inflicted shotgun wound, according to Jasper County medical examiner Dr. Fred Carpenter and the State Bureau of Criminal Investigation. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Lutheran Church, Newton, with the Rev. H. Eugene Cedarholm officiating. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home, Newton. He was born Aug. 11, 1959, to Arthur "Jim" amd Mary J. Knight Greve. He moved to Newton 3 1/2 years ago. Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Arthur III, Thomas and Bryan, all of Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Reginald (Deborah) Stuhldryer and Judy Greve, both of Newton, and two grandmothers, Mrs. Ed Goenne and Mrs. Annabelle Knight, both of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
