The Clinton Herald Friday February 24, 1933 p. 5 Mrs. Carl Limbrecht, 1411 South Fifth street, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Thursday after an illness of six months. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Margaret Christine Andresen was born June 8, 1862 in North Riesun, Schleswig-Holstein, German and came to the United States in 1882. She was united in marriage Nov. 14, 1883, to Theo. Soenksen, who preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1893. To them were born five children, two of whom are left to mourn her passing, John and Andrew Soenksen of Clinton. She was united in marriage Feb. 15, 1895, to Carl Limbrecht, who survives with the following children; Mrs. Marie Youngers of LeClaire; Mrs. Helen Goff, Mrs. Martha Seifert, Walter, William, and Herman Limbrecht of Clinton and William Daley, a son-in-law of Fulton, Ill. There are eleven grandchildren, also two sisters and one brother in Germany. She was a member of the D.O.H. lodge, 140, also a member of the Zion Lutheran church.
