The Clinton Herald Saturday May 6, 1978 p. 8 The funeral for Mrs. Martin (Elizabeth) Morris, 91, of 1124 5th Ave. N., who died Friday at Wyndcrest Nursing Home, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. The Rev. Leslie Pritchard, pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday Pallbearers will be John Ward, Lambert Neill, Herbert Levine, Dave Dulaney, Edgar H. Jorgensen and W.E. Elwanger. She was born Jan. 15, 1887, in DePere, Wis., the daughter of Max and Fannie Falkenstein. She married Martin Morris on June 6, 1906, in Chicago, Ill. They came to Clinton in 1906 and started the Martin Morris Clothing Store, now known as the Syndicate Hub. Mr. Morris died in 1934. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mark N. (Esther) Morris, Clinton, and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
