The Clinton Herald April 6, 1910 Telegrams received in Clinton this morning brought the sad intelligence of the death of Ben Bollman at his home in Rockford, Ill., death coming at 9 o'clock this morning. Mr. Bollman had been suffering for a number of months and his death was not unexpected. The remains will be brought to Clinton at 1:55 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and will be taken immediately to Springdale cemetery, where interment will take place. The services at the grave will be private and will be in charge of Rev. R.T. Jones of the Congregational church. For many years Mr. Bollman resided in Clinton, having been born here. He had accumulated a large following of Clinton friends who will be grieved to learn of his death and who will join the bereaved family in mourning Mr. Bollman's demise. For about a year Mr. Bollman had been ill and every effort was made to bring a return to health but all to no avail.
