The Clinton Herald Monday September 19, 1938 p. 5 Word has been received by Mrs. E.G. Fenlon, 523 Seventh avenue South, of the death of her son, John Closson Fenlon, Saturday in the Elmhurst, Ill., hospital, where he had been ill for three weeks. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in his Villa Park, Ill., home. Mr. Fenlon was born in Clinton, April 7, 1890, the son of Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Fenlon. He leaves besides his mother, his wife; two children, Jean and William by a former marriage; a brother, George of Marion and two sisters, Miss Mabel G. Fenlon nad Mrs. Adelaide Davies of Clinton. George Fenlon and family and Miss Fenlon will attend the services. Preceding Mr. Fenlon in death was his father.
