The Clinton Herald Thursday June 16, 1960 p. 15 Mrs. J. Kevin Coughlin, 62, 424 10th Ave.S., died Wednesday at about noon in her home. The body is at the Snyder funeral home from where it is to be taken today to the Halligan funeral home in Davenport. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday with a requiem high mass in St. Paul the Apostle church in Davenport, with Msgr. Leo C. Sterck as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery. A native of Clinton, Madeline Calnan married Mr. Coughlin at Davenport in June, 1923. He preceded her in death. She had been associated with the Otis Elevator Co., Davenport until 1954. Surviving are her father; a brother, W.H. Calnan Jr., of Clinton and two sisters, Mrs. W.C. Horton of Chicago and Catherine Calnan, Topeka, Kan. Preceding her hin death was her mother.
