FULTON, Ill. — Marcille L. Blender, 81, of 509 N. 10th St., Fulton, IL, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2007, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, Fulton, IL. The Rev. Dr. Stanley Bomgarden, pastor of Fulton Presbyterian Church, Fulton, IL, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2007, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, Fulton, IL. Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL.Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. She was born May 13, 1926, in Elmwood, IL, to William and Mildred (Carlson) Weber.She attended Peoria, IL, grade and high schools. She married George H. Blender on March 13, 1943, in Peoria, IL. He survives. She farmed along with her husband in the rural Morrison, IL, area. Marcille enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, and cooking. Survivors include her husband, George; three daughters, Mrs. Cheryl Rairden of Orlando, FL, Marcia (Mrs. Tom) Montgomery of Linn Creek, MO, and Joan (Mrs. Rick) Norman of Fulton, IL; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Phyllis Weber of Peoria, IL.To send online condolences go to www.bosmarenkes.com.
