The Clinton Herald Wednesday January 28, 1953 p. 10 Henry J. Utroska, 80, 646 3rd Ave. S. died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Jane Lamb hospital, where he had been a patient for seven weeks. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Shell funeral home with Rev. M.S. Bredlow of Zion Lutheran church officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. Mr. Utroska was born Feb. 10, 1872, in Otis, Ind., was the son of the late John and Amelia Shearer Utroska. He was married July 5, 1892, in Chicago to Martha Johns. and had loved in Clinton since 1898. A cigar maker by trade, of later years he was employed at Clinton Foods, Inc. He was a 47-year member of Wapsie Aerie F.O.E. and had served as president in 1907. Surviving are six sons, Edwin H., Ray R., Harry E., Lyle C., Wayne B., all of Clinton, and Fred W., St. Charles, Ill.; also seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a brother, August Utroska, Chicago. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1936, two sons, a daughter, three brothers and three sisters.
