The Clinton Herald Saturday April 8, 1944 p. 3 Funeral services for Mrs. Deborah Mae Jepsen will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Snell Funeral home. The Rev. C.E. Thompson will officiate and burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Deborah Mae Judd was born in White Hall, N.Y., Feb. 18, 1876, daughter of Even and Mary Judd. She was married in Clinton June 19, 1894, to Hans P. Jepsen and he preceded her in death in 1941. She was a member of the V.F.W. auxiliary and the Clinton chapter of Women of the Moose. Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Muriel Smart, Vancouver, British Columbia; Mrs. Hannah Handy, Chicago; and Mrs. Elizabeth Buckman, Clinton; and a brother, E.R. (Tom) Judd, Clinton. Three adopted children also survive, Mrs. Archie Lapp, Los Angeles; Winfield Schawl, Bensonville, Ill.; and Charles Buckman, pm3c, U.S.navy, Mare Island, Calif, and 23 nephews and nieces. Members of the V.F.W. auxiliary will meet in the funeral home tomorrow night to pay their last respects. Clinton chapter, 474, Women of the Moose will meet tonight at 8 o'clock in the funeral home.
