The Clinton Herald Monday November 24, 1941 p. 5 Frank W. Huebner, 51, died at 4:35 a.m. today in his home, 422 Locust place. He was a World war veteran, having enlisted May 15, 1918, and was discharged Jan. 4, 1919, as a private in the Eighth company, 161st depot brigade. Funeral plans will be announced Tuesday. The body reposes in the Snell funeral home where it may be viewed beginning Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Huebner, son of Reinhardt and Ernestine Huebner, was born June 25, 1890, in Clinton and lived here all his life. He was married June 15, 1933, in Mt. Carroll, Ill., to Hattie Bradley Marburger. Survivors include his wife, an adopted daughter, Mary Bradley; three brothers, Edeward, Helmut and Otto Huebner, all of Clinton, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lund, Clinton and Mrs. Hattie Yeager, Morrison, Ill. There are several nieces and nephews. Mr. Huebner was a member of June Van Meter pos, 190, American Legion.
