The Clinton Herald Friday January 20, 1967 p. 11 Bernard Duffy, 70, died Thursday in Charlotte. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Irenaeus church by Rev. Philip Ryan. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus cemetery. The parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the Pape funeral home, where visitation begins at 7 p.m. today. Mr. Duffy was born Sept. 2, 1896, in Lyons, the son of Hugh and Kate Dolan Duffy. He was a member of St. Irenaeus church and a veteran of World War I. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. John Flynn of Clinton, and nieces and nephews. His parents and one brother preceded him in death.
