The Clinton Herald Friday May 16, 1980 p. 12 Henry A. Raun, 96, of Borden Manor Care Center, died there Thursday. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Pape Funeral Home with the Rev. Lauren Ashley Smith officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Larry, Richard, Robert and David Kettler, Paul and William Raun. Mr. Raun was born April 2, 1884, in Appinrad, Denmark, to Jens and Marie Lund Raun. He came to America in 1888. He married Lulu M. Klare Aug. 30, 1910, in Clinton. He retired from Clinton Corn Processing Co. in 1954. He was a member of Community Congregational Church and Danish Brotherhood. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lyle (Virginia) Utroska of Clinton; a son, Robert Raun of Clinton; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, seven sisters, two brothers and a great-granddaughter.
