The Clinton Herald Wednesday November 16, 1977 p. 7 The funeral for Mrs. Nellie G. Jackson, 72, 2215 Camanche Ave., who died Tuesday, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Snell-Zornig Funeral Home, with the Rev. William King. Chancy Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Carl Melchiori, John King, Bernard King, Carl Purcell, Richard Decker, and Robert Brown. She was born Sept. 1, 1905, in Clinton, the daughter of Frank and Amelia Miller Koons. She married George S. Jackson March 19, 1925, in Davenport. He died in 1943. She is survived by three sons, Eugene R. and Robert K., both of Clinton, and George H., Gree Cove Springs, Fla.; six grandchildren; and four sisters, Grace Koons, Mrs. A.F. (Adelia) Jackson, Mrs. H.H. (Mildred) Ronnfeldt, and Mrs. David (Emily) Decker, all of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, one granddaughter, four brothers and a sister.
