DEWITT — Mary M. Green, age 90, DeWitt, Iowa, died Monday afternoon, November 5, 2007, in her home with her family by her side. There was no visitation. A funeral Mass was held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (today), November 7, 2007, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt. The Rev. Fr. David Brownfield presided. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery, Grand Mound. Pallbearers were Robert E. Olson, Michael Whitman and Frank Forret. Memorials may be designated to Genesis Hospice of Clinton and St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mary Green was born July 27, 1917, in DeWitt. She married Donald E. Green in DeWitt, June 1, 1939, and they farmed, retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt.

Surviving are her adopted daughter, Lenora Kay Olson; grandsons, Michael Olson and Robert (Denise) Olson, great-grandsons as well as nieces and nephews.

Preceding Mary in death was her husband, Donald, her mother, Gladys (McDevitt) Mangan, a sister, Jeanne Cudahy and a brother, John Mangan.

The family extends their sincere thanks to Genesis Hospice and staff, especially, Linda, Andrea, Carla, René and April.
