SERVICES: 10 a.m. Monday at at the Dutchtown Church of the Brethren in Milledgeville with the Rev. Rick Koch officiating.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ill. — Olive Mae Seng, 90, of Milledgeville, died Thursday at her home.Burial will be in Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling, Ill.

She was born April 21, 1917, in Freeport, Ill., to Asa and Etta Fox Kreider. She married Chester Seng on Nov. 9, 1939, in Milledgeville. She and her husband owned and operated Seng Food Mart in Milledgeville for 30 years. She was a member of Dutchtown Church of the Brethren. She was active in Christian Women’s Club and many Bible Studies.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Vicki Hammer of Clinton, and Marla (Sam) Baughman of Milledgeville; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four nieces.She was preceded in death by two brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Dutchtown Church of the Brethren and Hospice of the Rock River Valley.
