The Clinton Herald Monday September 27, 1915 p. 8 Marshall S. Judd died Sunday morning at 8:15 o'clock at his home, 217 Second avenue, following an illness lasting for several weeks. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at St. John's Episcopal church with Rev. F.H. Burrell officiating. The Eagles of which he was a charter member will assist and have their ritual at the grave. Deceased was born March 16, 1859, at Whitehall, N.Y., where he resided until 1890 when he moved to Clinton. He was united in marriage to Miss Hattie Potter at Whitehall, N.Y., July 4, 1875, and to them were born fifteen children, two of whom died in infancy. He is survived by his wife and thirteen children as follows: Thomas B., Charles H., William N., Woodworth M., Marshall S. Jr., Clarence A., Hazel A. and Harriet at home, Mrs. P.W. Sheen, Mrs. Herbert H. Fuller, Mrs. Arthur A. Surprise, Mrs. Clyde Burlingame of Clinton and Mrs. Peter W. Lind of Marshalltown. Six brothers also survive, E.R., and L.D. Judd of Clinton, Thomas B. Judd of Sidney, Neb., Charles F. Judd of Rock Island, Ill., William H. Judd of Seattle, Wash., and H. Nelson Judd of Rock Island, Ill.
