The Clinton Herald Thursday October 28, 1954 p. 17 Fred Judd, 78, of 3003 1/2 Pershing Blvd., died this morning in Jane Lamb hospital, where he had been a patient for 10 days. The body is at the Snell funeral home, where friends may call beginning a 7:30 p.m. today. Funeral services are tentatively set for Saturday, the hour to be announced later. A native of New York, Mr. Judd was born Oct. 11, 1876, and came here as a boy with his parents, Levi and Lucy Judd. He spent most of his life in Clinton and was employed at the Clinton Saddlery for many years. More recently he worked at the former Rich Industries, retiring in 1948. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Erwin J. (Florence) Frank, and two sons, Eugene and Russell Judd, all of Clinton; three grandchildren; four brothers, Edward of Davenport, Oscar B. of Spooner, Wisc., Damon of Texas, and Jesse of Tacoma, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, three daughters and a sister.
