SERVICES: 11 a.m. Thursday at Prince of Peace Parish Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Herold officiating. Schmitz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. CLINTON — Mary F. Giunta, 92, of Clinton, died Monday at Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton. Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus, St. Edward’s Council. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. She was born June 14, 1915, in Dubuque to Stanley and Mary Van Oss Terris. She married Vince Giunta on May 27, 1937, in Dubuque. He died in 1984. She was a graduate of Dubuque Senior High School. She and her husband owned and operated Giunta Brothers Grocery Wholesalers. She also was the office manager at Wagner Import Motors. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Parish and Daughters of Isabella. Survivors include one son, John “Jack” (Bel) Giunta of Marshall, Wis.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lois (Bert) Muir of Dubuque. The family requests that memorials be made to Wyndcrest Nursing Home.She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and one sister. Death date: Sept. 17, 2007
