Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. SERVICES: 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wendell Davelaar, pastor of First Christian Reformed Church in Fulton, officiating.FULTON, Ill. — Bernice D. Klavenga, 85, of Fulton, died Thursday at Mercy North Hospital.Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery. She was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Fulton to John and Fredreka Zaagman Klavenga. She attended Fulton Christian Grade School and graduated from Fulton High School in 1940. She was employed as a seamstress at the Clinton Garment Co., Clinton, before retiring in 1984. She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church, Fulton; the Christian Women’s Club, Clinton; and Local 303 Ladies Garment Worker’s Union, Clinton, IA.Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Anna Braun of Fulton, Mrs. Angeline Miley of Fulton and Mrs. Clara Klavenga of Fulton; one brother, Henry (Genevieve) Klavenga of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to First Christian Reformed Church.Condolences may be made online at www.bosmarenkes.com. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Death date: Sept. 13, 2007
