Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. H. Robert Harness officiating. BETTENDORF — Mary E. Guerra, 82, of Bettendorf, died Thursday at Trinity Medical Center, Terrace Park Campus, Bettendorf. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, DeWitt. Pallbearers will be Ryan Dowers, Travis Long, Ryan Long, Troy Long, Dennis Bauer and Craig Bauer. She was born Mary Eileen Bauer on Oct. 15, 1924, in Bellevue to William and Cecilia Koppes Bauer Sr. She graduated from Welton High School and attended the American Institute of Commerce. She entered the U.S. Navy as a WAVE in World War II. She was employed with the Rock Island (Ill.) Arsenal for many years. Survivors include one son, Anthony “Mike” (Kathy) Guerra of Davenport; one daughter, Linda Long of Columbia, Mo.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Robert Bauer of Muscatine, William (Joyce) Bauer Jr., Darlene Templeton and Marcella (Kenneth) Steinke, all of DeWitt, and Beverly (Vincent) Moore of Clarence.
