Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton.SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Prince of Peace Parish, St. Irenaeus Church. The Rev. Thom Hennen will be officiating. CLINTON — Richard T. “Dick” Bostock, 72, of Clinton, died Sunday in Iowa City.Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery.Pallbearers will be William Suter, John Barger Sr., Joey Bourg, John Barger Jr., Phil Eckstrom, Don Donoway and Michael Barger. He was born April 12, 1935, in Series, Calif., to Thomas A. and Mary Lavina Sullivan Bostock. He married Jackie Williams on April 10, 1959, in Fulton, Ill.He was employed with Bostock Distributors, later Baker Distributing, Ralston Purina and he retired as an over-the-road trucker in 1995.He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish.Survivors include his wife; two daughters, LaVina (Joey) Bourge of Luling, La., and Lisa (John) Barger of Clinton; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and one great-grandchild.He was preceded is death by his parents, one grandchild and one brother. Death date: Sept. 9, 2007
