SERVICE: Was 2 p.m. Wednesday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home, Jasonville. The Revs. Larry Goodman and Rony Reyes officiated.JASONVILLE, Ind. — William J. “Bill” Quinlan, 79, of Jasonville, died Sept. 2 at his home.Burial will be in Peavey Cemetery, Howesville, Ind.He was born April 11, 1928, in Delmar to Clement and Catherine M. Welsh Quinlan.He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.He graduated from Southwestern University of Illinois.He was an accountant with the welfare department and employment office.He was a member of the Howesville Church of God of Prophecy, Indiana Gospel Music Association and founded the Jasonville Spirit Builders and Greene Guard.Survivors include his wife, Ruth Quinlan of Jasonville; daughters, Julie (Roger) Reynolds of Jasonville and Carol (Thomas) Wright of Linton, Ind.; one sister, Mary Catherine “Bobbie” (Quinlan) Shay of Iowa City; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one daughter. Death date: Sept. 2, 2007
