The Clinton Herald Wednesday June 18, 1980 p. 15 Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Church for Joseph J. Regenwether, 85, of 223 S. 7th St., who died Tuesday. The Rev. E.J. Weeg will officiate. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Cemetery. A prayer service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Delaney-Vilich Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today with the rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Steven, Terry, Mark, Creighton and Paul Regenwether and Jeff Wickert. Mr. Regenwether was born April 17, 1885, in Maquoketa, to John and Katherine Entringer Regenwether. He married Loretta V. Burken June 21, 1922, in Clinton. She died in 1978. He was a retired salesman for the Moorman Manufacturing Co. of Quincy, Ill., and also had served as a deputy city assessor. Survivors include twin sons, Delbert of Milwaukee, Wis., and Robert of Clinton; a sister, Mrs. Mary Hansen of Preston; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, a sister and six brothers.
