The Clinton Herald April 7, 1984 p. 14 Charles R. Crowley, 62, of rural DeWitt, died Friday. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, DeWitt, with Rev. Robert Harness officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, DeWitt. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Sunday in Hanrahan Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Mr. Crowley was born in rural DeWitt Aug. 20, 1921 to Timothy and Mary Ellen Kearney Crowley. He never married and had farmed all his life. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Francis (Florence) Kane of Long Grove, Iowa, Mrs. Clarence (Agnita) Craig and Mrs. Nellie Lawlor, both of DeWitt. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
