The Clinton Herald Tuesday August 5, 1941 The Rev. Bruce McCullough, D.D., pastor, conducted funeral services at 10:30 o'clock this morning in the First Presbyterian church for Mrs. Walter D. Morris, Jr., 803 Fifth avenue, South, who died Saturday. He was assisted by Dr. H.J. Rendall, Morrison, Ill., a former pastor of the church who is an intimate friend of the Morris family. During the service, Mrs. H.H. Hobart sang "The Lord Is My Shephard" and "Peace I Leave With You." Mrs. W.H. Bardwell accompanied on the organ. Burial was in Springdale cemetery. Pallbearers were C.A. Armstrong, Roscoe Armstrong, C.L. Bell, E.M. De Moss, Dr. J.J. Heusinkveld, Dr. F.O. Kershner, James Mc G. Leslie and Harry C. Snyder. Among those attending the service were Mrs. L.H. Hochschild, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Hedrick and O.H. Baker, Chicago; Miss Lucille Lockwood and Miss Gertrude Lockwood, Des Moines; Mr. and Mrs. L.T. Morris and Mrs. F.M. Kemp, Watertown, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Treadway, St. Louis, Mo.; and Miss Susan Rubright, Sterling, Ill.
