The Clinton Herald Saturday March 25, 1972 p. 10 Mrs. Kenneth S. (Ruth) Armstrong, 500 Woodlands Dr., died today in Jane Lamb Memorial Hospital. The private cremation service was held today in Davenport Crematory. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Leslie E. Prichard officiating. There will be no visitation. Snell-Smith Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert E. Bickelhaupt, E.T. Hodges, Jay Kramer, James Young, Burt Klikeman and F.P. Stolp. The former Ruth K. Kallhauge was born in Gotteborg, Sweden. She was graduated from Augustana School of Nursing, Chicago and was a registered nurse. She had served as president of the Clinton Country Club Auxiliary and had served as secretary on the board of directors of Jane Lamb Memorial Hospital. She was a member and former chairman of the Deconess, of the United Presbyterian Church, served on the board of directors and was a former president of Agatha Auxiliary of Jane Lamb Hospital, and a member of Chapter J.N. PEO. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Miss Gail Katharine Armstrong of Davenport; a son, Charles Alan, attending the University of Wisconsin; and a sister, Mrs. Ulla Tronet of Crystal Lake, Ill.
