The Clinton Herald Saturday February 22, 1936 Funeral services are to be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in Scottish Rite temple, Fifth avenue and South First street, for Charles M. Seeber, former Clinton county resident, who died at 1 o'clock this morning in the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Bryant, Mount Vernon. Death followed a brief illness. Funeral rites are to be in charge of Delphic chapter, Knights Rose Croix, of De Molay consistory, of which Mr. Seeber was a member. The Preston Blue lodge also is to participate in the services. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Mr. Seeber was born Aug. 1, 1850, in Courtland county, New York, but had been a resident of Sabula and Preston most of his life. He recently had been making his home with his daughter in Mount Vernon. Mrs. Seeber, the former Elizabeth Jefferies, sister of J.Q. Jefferies, of Clinton, died Dec. 29, 1928. He is survived by his daughter, three granddaughters and one grandson.
