Marion L. “Pete” Robinson

Visitation: Noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gibson Funeral Home, Erie, Ill.

SERVICES: 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

MILAN, Ill. — Marion L. “Pete” Robinson, 73, of Milan, died Saturday at his home.

Burial will be in the Fenton (Ill.) Cemetery.

He was born July 12, 1933, in Viola, Ill., to Seyler and Florence Kasenberg Robinson. He married Clara Blair on July 9, 1968, in Viola. She died in 2000.

He retired from Louisiana (Mo.) Manufacturing after 25 years of service.

Survivors include one daughter, Gail (Chris Davison) Robinson of Beacon, N.Y.; one son Kenneth (Sharon) Robins of Galesburg, Ill.; stepdaughters, Beth Willits of Fulton, Ill., Esther Parkins of Rock Island, Ill., Myra (Gary) Ripley of Wheeling, W.Va., and Norma Murphy of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; stepsons, Daniel (Shirley) Howe and David (Pam) Howe, both of Rock Island; two grandchildren; 16 stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Anderson of Viola; and girlfriend, Vicky Armstrong of Milan.

Death date: Jan. 27, 2007
