Larry “Trapper” Dean Yanausch

SERVICES: 1 p.m. Saturday at Schultz Funeral Home Chapel, DeWitt, with the Rev. H. Robert Harness officiating.

DEWITT — Larry “Trapper” Dean Yanausch, 47, of DeWitt, died Tuesday at his home.

He was born Oct. 17, 1959, in Long Island, N.Y.

He served in the U.S. Army for a short time.

He lived in various parts of the world. For most of his life, he resided in Iowa City and Hill areas.

He was employed in landscaping.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Koehn of DeWitt; stepchildren, Damien (Erin) Koehn of McCausland, Amy (Eric Hogenson) Koehn of Bettendorf and Sarah (Eric Friedman) Koehn of St. Louis, Mo.; mother-in-law, Lois Shreves of Eldridge; two sons, Donnie and Larry; one grandchild; three stepgrandchildren; brothers, Rick and Jim; one sister, Cherie; stepmother, Katie; and mother-in-law, Lois Shreves.
