SERVICES: 11:30 a.m. Friday at Elmwood Cemetery. Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
CLINTON — Margaret Elizabeth Carter, 95, of Clinton, died Wednesday at Mercy North Hospital.
Pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren.
She was born Oct. 31, 1911, in Camanche to Wallace and Eva Cousins Lum. She married E. Henry Carter on Nov. 19, 1947, in Columbia, Mo. He died in 1993.
She attended Camanche schools and Scovill Business College.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She was employed as an accountant with Wallace Lum Lumber for 17 years and was an office manager with C.E. Armstrong Co.
Survivors include one son, Wallace E. (Pauline) Alm of Clinton; sisters, Doris Duckstader of Rochester, Minn., and Jane Munksgaard of Camanche; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister.
