Clinton Morning Age Tuesday October 11, 1898 p. 4 Patrick Holleran, an old and respected resident of this city, died at his home, 228 First avenue, at 9:45 Sunday evening. He had been in failing health for some time past, having been afflicted with liver complaint. He was born in County Clare, Ireland, in 1822, coming to America in 1849 and locating in New York City. Later he removed to Chicago and came to Clinton in the early '60s where has since resided. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, two sons and one daughter, besides many friends and acquaintances. The funeral will take place Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock with services at St. Patrick's church, followed by interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
