The Clinton Herald Tuesday February 12, 1929 p. 5 Word has been received in Clinton today of the death of Jessie B. Burlingame, wife of Cassius M. Burlingame of Milwaukee, Wis. The body will be brought to Clinton arriving at 9 p.m. Thursday and will be taken to the Rockwell Mortuary chapel where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Interment will be in Springdale cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Horton, D.D. of St. John's Episcopal church will officiate. Jessie Sylvanus was the daughter of a former pioneer Clinton family, her brother Theodore Sylvanus, a man who achieved renown in the world of his endeavor, and his daughter, Mrs. Lyle Jefferies, is the only one of the family residing here. Mr. Buringame is also of an early Clinton family and he was in younger days with The Clinton Herald company. Mrs. Burlingame leaves her husband, and two children, Mary Adelaide and Caryle M.
