The Clinton Advertiser Saturday August 22, 1925 p. 6 Patrick Verstredt, aged about 60 years, passed away at his home in southeast DeWitt at seven o'clock Friday evening, after an illness of several years duration. The deceased is survived by four sisters, Mrs. C.H. Boyle, Davenport, Mrs. Dan Carey of southeast DeWitt, and Nellie and Catherine at home. Funeral services will be held from St. Joseph's church at nine o'clock Monday morning with interment at St. Joseph's cemetery.
