Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel of Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home, Humboldt.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel.

FORT DODGE — Ruth S. Wolf, 69, of Fort Dodge, died Monday in Fort Dodge.

Interment will be in Indian Mound Cemetery, Humboldt.

She was born March 16, 1937, to Floyd and Elnora Naeve Christensen in Humboldt. She married Jerry Wolf. The couple lived on a farm southwest of LuVerne. They later divorced.

She was raised and educated in Humboldt. Following graduation, she attended college and received her teaching degree.

She began her teaching career in LuVerne. She later moved to Fort Dodge where she was a substitute teacher and worked in the real estate business.

She was active in the Christian Science Church and reading room. She also was active in community theater in Fort Dodge and did public singing.

Survivors include one son, Mike (Peg) Wolf of Clinton; daughters, Melanie (Steve) Lewis of Boston, Elisabeth Wolf of Coralville and Glori Marie Wolf of Humboldt; five grandchildren; brothers, Russ (Joyce) Christensen of Humboldt and Steve (Joy) Christensen of Humboldt; and one sister, Karen Rutz of Rockland, Calif.

Memorials may be made to the Clinton Area Showboat Theatre, Box 764, Clinton, IA 52732.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
