Visitation: 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2600 Lincoln Way.
SERVICES: Noon Thursday at the funeral home.
CAMANCHE — Kenneth F. Friis, 67, of Camanche, died Monday at Mercy North Hospital.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
He was born May 14, 1939, to Hans and Katherine Goers Friis. He married Patricia McGrogan on July 29, 1961, in Clinton.
He attended Clinton High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1961 aboard the USS Grand Canyon.
He owned and operated Friis and Son Painting for more than 30 years.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Club.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jonie (Tom) Hampton of Clinton and Andrea (Melvin) Holmes of Chicago; one son, Patrick Friis of Camanche; three grandchildren; two sisters, Janice (Frank) Fuller of Clinton and Stephanie Slayter of Davenport; one brother, Dirk (Linda) Friis of Clinton.
Memorials may be made to the family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one daughter, one daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
