SERVICES: 3 p.m. today at Wyoming Cemetery with the Rev. Bev Thompson-Travis, chaplain of St. Luke’s Hospice, officiating.
ONSLOW — Geneva M. Rohwedder, 76, of Onslow, died Friday at her home.
She was born May 29, 1930, in La Porte City to Ambrose C. and Opal Fleming Anderson. She married Vertus Rohwedder on July 3, 1960, in Mount Pleasant. He died in 1985.
She attended Linn County rural schools.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include four sons, Terry Rickels of San Antonio, Bruce (Cindy) Rickels of Onslow, Henry Rohwedder of Anamosa and Douglas Rohwedder of Phoenix; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Nyline (Kenneth) Price of Troy Mills and Iline Kehrli of Dallas.
Memorials may be given to St. Luke’s Hospice.
