Camilla M. Skott

Visitation: 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

MAQUOKETA — Camilla M. Skott, 91, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died Friday at Clover Ridge Place, Maquoketa.

Burial will be in Buckhorn Cemetery, rural Maquoketa.

She was born Dec. 23, 1915, in Jackson County to Hiland C. and Anna Helena Schneckloth Owen. She married Oskar T. Skott on Aug. 14, 1943, in Davenport. He died in 1998.

She was educated in rural Jackson County country schools.

She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband on the Skott family farm.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Maquoketa. She also was a member of the Merry Knitters, Maquoketa Garden Club, Buckhorn Community Club and a local painting club.

Survivors include sons, Owen Skott of Maquoketa and Craig Skott of Mason City; two brothers, George (Lorraine) Owen of Maquoketa and Louis Owen of Salem, Ore.; one sister-in-law, Ernestine Owen of Maquoketa; and many nieces and nephews.

A Camilla M. Skott Memorial Fund has been established.
