MAQUOKETA — Kathy M. “Katy” Arterberry, 46, of Maquoketa, died Thursday at Jackson County Regional Health Center in Maquoketa.
Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.
She was born April 2, 1960, in Maquoketa to Donald E. and Judith M. Watters Reistroffer. She married Bernie Arterberry on Dec. 12, 1987 in Maquoketa.
She graduated from Preston High School in 1978,
She was a homemaker and had worked early on her career, first for the Preston Creamery, then for CB Company, and then as a bartender at the Eagles Club in Maquoketa.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Jacob Levi Arterberry of Maquoketa; her father of Maquoketa; two brothers, Christopher Reistroffer of Bettendorf and David Reistroffer of Maquoketa; an aunt, Pam (LeRoy, Jr.) Helmle of Maquoketa; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her mother on July 7, 2006, one uncle and a cousin.
