SERVICES: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Byrd, pastor of Open Bible Fellowship in Morrison, will be officiating.

MORRISON, Ill. — Dona Holman, 68, of Morrison, died Dec. 17 at New Beginnings Care Centre, Rock Falls, Ill.

Her body has been donated to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois.

She was born Sept. 22, 1938, in Bath, Ohio, to John D. and Margaretta A. Long Staley.

She was educated at Bath Grade School and graduated from Cuyahoga (Ohio) Falls High School.

She married Richard E. Ferry in 1961 in New Orleans. He died in 1975. She then married James R. Holman in 1980 in Morrison. He died in 1992.

She was employed with General Electric, Morrison, as a production worker.

She was a member of the GEM Club.

Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth (Jason) Burge of Morrison; one son, Jim (Lisa) Ferry of Morrison; two stepdaughters, Cherry (Charles) Sweeney of Seymour, Mo., and Joanne (Jim) Land of Coal Valley, Ill.; one stepson, Leroy Holman of Seymour; five grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and one brother, Richard Perry of Cuyahoga Falls.

Memorials will be established by the family.
