SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Herb Shafer and Dennis Glew officiating.
CLINTON — Mary Jane Hopkins, 67, of Clinton, died Tuesday at Mercy North Hospital.
Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
She was born May 6, 1939, in Clinton to Peter and Mildred Cady Petersen. She married Keith Hopkins on July 20, 1958, in Clinton. He died in 2002.
She was a 1957 graduate of Clinton High School.
She was a homemaker. She also was employed with the Alverno Health Care Facility in the dietary department for 171/2 years.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir and also volunteered in the church office.
Survivors include two sons, Paul (Elizabeth) Hopkins of Clinton and Brian Hopkins of DuBois, Pa.; two daughters, Sandra Heath of Clinton and Peggy Burns of Omaha, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; one sister, June Rutherford of Buchanan, Mich.; and one special friend and brother-in-law, David Hopkins of Clinton.
The family requests that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
