Edward C. Williams, 51, a Tacoma resident, died Friday, August 9, 1991. Born August 10, 1939 in Clinton, Iowa.
Ed was the secretary of the Tacoma Moose Lodge #435, member of the Puyallup Eagles. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and had worked as a mechanic for Walker Chevrolet for the past 19 years. Ed was a drummer for several country bands and enjoyed camping with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his mother Gertrude E. Williams.
Surviving are wife, Carol (Midge) Williams of Tacoma; son, Edward J. Williams of Lincoln, Ill.; daughters Ruth Maring and Elizabeth Marr of Clinton, Iowa; father Edward V. Williams; sister, Doris A. Curtis; father-in-law, Earl Robinson; stepchildren, Steven of Lincoln, Ill.; Vickie, Bob and Cindie of Tacoma; 10 grandchildren, numerous nephews including Virgil Fisher; nieces Teresa Fisher and Linda Curtis of Tacoma.
Viewing will be Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral services, Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Mountain View Valley Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chapter 11 Moose Lodge, Tacoma Moose Lodge #435. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
