Sunday at his home in the western part of the city occurred the death of Charles Walker, a well known resident. Death was due to old age and an attack of the grip. He was for a number of years an alderman in the old city of Lyons coucil. Mr. WALKER was born in Coventry, England in the year 1825 and was 80 years of age. He moved to this country with his parents when he was a young boy. After living in the east until he was nearly 30 years of age, he came to this city. He leaves to mourn his loss two sons, Frank and Walter, and one daughter, Mrs. L. COOK, all of this city, all of this city. The funeral services will be in charge of the I. O. O. F.
