CLINTON — William A. McCluskey, 72, of Clinton, died Monday at his home.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial will be at a later date.
He was born Aug. 25, 1934, to William and Grace Weller McCluskey in Clinton. He married Lois Jean Mussmann on Nov. 23, 1954, in Preston.
He attended St. Irenaeus School.
He was employed with Clinton Corn for more than 25 years.
He was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mary (Harlan) Quick of Clinton, Connie (Mark) Wilson of Camanche, Brenda (Tim) Sanders of Maquoketa and Margaret (Wayne) Thola of Preston; two sons, William A. McCluskey Jr. of Davenport and Steven (Micki) McCluskey of Sabula; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one sister, three brothers and four half brothers.
