SERVICES: 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
ERIE, Ill. — Maxine M. Stubbs, 68, of Erie, died Monday at Heartland Healthcare, Moline, Ill.
Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
She was born July 15, 1938, in Galva, Ill., to Frank and V. Louise McNaught-Talbot. She married Harry Stubbs on Aug. 8, 1956, in Geneseo, Ill.
She was a Boy Scout den mother and Brownie troop leader.
Memorials may be made to the Erie ambulance service.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Roger Stubbs of Erie; one daughter, Mary (Kurt Gainey) Newman of Erie; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank (Nan) Talbot of Fulton, Ill; and one nephew.
