Visitation: Were 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from noon to 1 p.m. today at Heesch Funeral Home, LeClaire.
SERVICES: 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
BETTENDORF — Laverne McLaughlin, 90, of Bettendorf and formerly of LeClaire, died Friday at Bettendorf Health Care Center.
Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire.
She was born Oct. 19, 1916, in Clinton. She married George H. McLaughlin on Jan. 14, 1938, in Clinton. He died in 1991.
She was a member of the LeClaire Women’s Club and a former board member of the Alcoa Credit Union. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, LeClaire.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda McLaughlin of Garland, Texas; one son, Dan (Pam) McLaughlin of Bettendorf; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, LeClaire.
